Stoke Prior Dog Training Club

History

Stoke Prior Dog Training Club started approximately 30 years ago with just a few members training for competitive obedience.

We had many enquiries about pet training classes which we started about 20 years ago and they have proved to be very successful.

Head Trainer:

Roz Valentine

Roz founded Stoke Prior Dog Training Club and still leads the training team. She is a qualified Championship Obedience judge.More about Roz and her dogs can be found back in the main HeelSitStay website

Assistant Trainer:

Louise Williams

Louise has attended the club since Brecon (on the left) was a puppy and she joined the training team in Nov 2003.

Louise works at Wythall Animal Sanctuary and rehomed both her dogs from there. Arnie (on the right) was unhomeable owing to a severe heart defect that gave him a life expectancy of 6-12 months, however, with lots of TLC he is now 3 1/2 years old and going strong. Louise and Arnie intend to take advantage of his new lease of life to compete in Obedience Competitions this year.
