Not all dogs would be happy in a classroom situation, if you have a dog that is frightened or aggressive with other dogs then the worst thing to do is expect them to be able to work with a room full of other animals.

Better by far is a one-to-one consultation where the dog can be seen without putting undue pressure on an already anxious situation. Plus it lets the owner relax as there are no other dogs to be constantly watching. I can offer personal consultations for these problems.

Do you have a dog that:-

• Rules the roost ?
• Won’t allow you to take toys/food away ?
• Growls when you get too close ?
• Barks at other dogs ?
• Pulls you off your feet when out for a walk ?
• Won’t listen to you in the park ?
• Keeps running off/destroying your things ?
• Chases cars ?

The one-to-one is a good starting point to make sure your dog understands what you are trying to teach it, this then can be transferred to the outside world, improving you chances of success considerably. Sometimes you are too close to see the wood for the trees and another persons opinion could be the simple answer.
